Architectural Elements are a series of architectural history-focused articles by ZoAnn Compana which first appeared in FootPrints, beginning with the Summer issue of 2017. ZoAnn is a local Historic Preservation Consultant who serves on the HRPS Board of Directors, the HRPS Editorial Board, and as the architectural historian on the City of Reno's Historical Resources Commission.
