Rosie and I conducted a tour of the hospital grounds Saturday, May 8. The weather was fantastic, the turnout was great and everyone seemed to enjoy the tour. Highlights were the Stone House and DeLongchamps Administrative building.

Several people had personal stories to share with us about their work at the hospital now or in the past, or about a relative or friend who had been a patient or employee there. We regret we didn't have enough time to talk at length with those of you who had interesting stories to share. We would love to gather personal stories, so please drop us a blurb in this blog and let us know how the state hospital fits into your life.

My husband and I are interested in Reno history. We would love to experience this Stone House tour! How beautiful this building is and we would love to learn more.

Getting to go into the Stone house was a dream come true for me.
Great job ladies and hope everyone enjoyed the tour and the cemeteries, soon to become one historic cemetery, without a park on the top of it.
